Trail Rated EV
The only fully electric vehicle to be Trail Rated, per Jeep.
The 2026 Jeep Recon is the only fully electric vehicle to be Trail Rated, combining open-air freedom with instant electric power. Jeep's spec sheet lists 670 hp and 620 lb-ft with four-wheel drive, and Jeep calls it the only 670-horsepower SUV under $70,000 MSRP. Pricing starts at $65,000 MSRP.
Oxmoor CDJR had no new Recons on the lot in the Oct 31 crawl, and Jeep notes limited quantities. Contact our team at 4520 Shelbyville Rd about allocation if you shop from Louisville, St. Matthews, Middletown, Lyndon, Jeffersontown and Shelbyville.

Recon passed Jeep's Trail Rated testing in five fields of off-road capability. Its electric drivetrain uses a 400-volt NMC battery and a single-speed transmission, and the spec sheet lists 3,300 pounds of towing, 850 pounds of payload and 65.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo space.
Like the Wrangler, the Recon offers open-air design with removable doors. Inside, it has the largest touchscreen area ever in a Jeep, and Jeep says over 170 safety and security features are standard. Jeep had not published an EPA range estimate in the pages we reviewed; ask our team for the latest figure.
For gas-powered open-air fun, compare the Wrangler. For an electric Jeep focused on luxury, see the Wagoneer S.

The Recon is for drivers who want Wrangler-style adventure with electric performance. If you mostly drive in town and charge at home, its instant torque and quiet operation make every commute fun, and its Trail Rated hardware means weekends can include real trails.
If you need long-distance range for frequent road trips, compare it with the Wagoneer S or a gas-powered Wrangler. If you want the open-air experience at a lower price, the Wrangler starts at $36,035.
Because stock is limited, ask our team to add you to the list for incoming Recon units.
Because Jeep had not published the Recon's driving range on the pages we reviewed, the best way to plan is to ask our team for the latest official figures before you order. Charging at home on a Level 2 charger is the most convenient approach for most owners, and our team can explain what home setup involves.
