The most powerful engine in the lineup belongs to the ferocious SRT Hellcat Redeye. The top-spec trim features an enhanced version of the 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 to crank out an almost unbelievable 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, this monstrous engine enables the SRT Hellcat Redeye to rocket to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and finish a quarter-mile dash in less than 11 seconds.  

As for fuel economy, the Dodge Challenger is unsurprisingly thirstier than many of its rivals. Its V-6 models are rated at 19/30 mpg (city/highway), while those with the V-8 engines give you 13/21 mpg to 16/25 mpg.

Handling

Despite its hefty weight, the 2020 Dodge Challenger delivers a smooth and composed ride in most situations. Some models use clever suspension tuning and adaptive dampers to improve handling around corners and along twisty roads.
