Most modern vehicles made by Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and RAM can accept either conventional or synthetic oil; however, if given a choice, we generally recommend choosing synthetic oil. Synthetic oil also contains additional detergent additives that keep your engine cleaner.
If your vehicle uses conventional oil, you will need to have oil changes performed every 3,000 miles or every three months. However, since synthetic oil lasts much longer: with synthetic oil, you only need an oil change once a year or every 10,000 miles (whichever comes first).
