Alignment refers to the specific angle of your wheels compared to the body of the car, and there are three different angles measured. If you own a 2WD vehicle, you don’t need an all-wheel alignment. However, 4WD and AWD vehicles do need an all-wheel alignment, and the reason why is simple. AWD and 4WD vehicles have four separate wheels that move to turn your car, and those wheels are all vulnerable to misalignment. 2WD vehicles have something called a fixed axle, and that fixed axle keeps two of the car’s wheels (usually the back two) pointed directly forward at all times. When you bring in your 4WD or AWD vehicle, we’ll work on all four of your wheels.
